An canza sunan kamfanin Facebook zuwa Meta

Shugaban Facebook Mark Zuckerberg ya sanar a ranar Alhamis a taron haɗin gwiwar kamfanin cewa sabon sunan kamfanin zai zama Meta.  “Mu kamfani ne da ke gina fasaha don haɗawa,” in ji Zuckerberg.  “Tare, a ƙarshe za mu iya sanya mutane a tsakiyar fasahar mu.

Zuckerberg ya rubuta a cikin wani shafin yanar gizon ranar Alhamis cewa tsarin kamfanoni na kamfanin ba zai canza ba, amma yadda yake ba da rahoton sakamakon kudi zai kasance.  “Tun daga sakamakon mu na kwata na huɗu na 2021, muna shirin bayar da rahoto kan sassan aiki guda biyu: Family of Apps da Reality Labs” ya bayyana.  “Har ila yau, muna da niyyar fara ciniki a ƙarƙashin sabon tikitin hannun jari da muka tanadi, MVRS, a ranar 1 ga Disamba. Sanarwar yau ba ta shafi yadda muke amfani ko raba bayanai ba.”

Hasashen farko ya mayar da hankali ne kan canji mai kama da na Google na 2015 lokacin da ya sanar da cewa zai zama ɗaya daga cikin kamfanoni da yawa a ƙarƙashin inuwar wani babban kamfani mai suna Alphabet.  Don Facebook, asalin “blue” app zai shiga Instagram, WhatsApp, da Oculus a ƙarƙashin kamfani iyaye.
